The language draws inspiration from Bactrian, an Eastern Iranian branch of the Indo-European family spoken in present-day Afghanistan from around 30 BC to 1000 AD. It features a somewhat simplified phonology and grammar, including the removal of grammatical gender, an SOV (subject–object–verb) word order, and the use of independent pronouns. The syntax is partially modeled on German word order, while the phonetic system employs English and German vowels and consonants to make the language more accessible to German speakers.
